What is Builtie?

Builtie is an automated prospecting engine built on live construction projects. It finds the projects, names the people behind them and runs the outreach for you, so your day goes to meetings, not research.

  1. 01

    Finds live projects

Builtie watches construction activity across North America: new builds, renovations and developments, with the stage each one is at.

  2. 02

    Names the people behind them

The builder or developer running each project, and a decision maker there, with their LinkedIn and email.

  3. 03

Reaches out and books the meeting

AI writes and sends the outreach from your own LinkedIn and email, in your name, follows up, and puts the meeting on your calendar.

Who we name: in Canada, the builder and developer behind each project and a decision maker there. In some US markets, where the public record lists them, the property owner too.

Hi Dana, saw the rebuild permit on Friends St came through last week. We've roofed several Palisades rebuilds this year, all Class A for the fire zone. Happy to price yours before you dry in.

Cabinets for the 16 units on N Oxford Ave

From: you@yourcompany.com · To: Sam, project manager

Hi Sam, congrats on getting the 4-story on N Oxford permitted. We supply and install kitchen and bath cabinets for multifamily jobs in Koreatown and Wilshire, usually 16 to 60 units. Could I send pricing for a typical unit before you lock in finishes?

Sent when interiors are still being bought, not after.

How it works

Real LA jobs. The right person. First.

Every LA permit, the day it's issued.

We read the City of Los Angeles building permits every day, from the Valley to San Pedro, and match each one to the trades it needs. Finished jobs drop out on their own.

The builder and the people behind it.

Each project carries the contractor, architect and engineer from the city's own permit record, the builder's state licence, phone and website, and the decision makers who run it.

Outreach that sounds like you did your homework.

Reach them on LinkedIn and by email about their exact job, at the stage when trades are still being chosen. Replies land in one inbox.

Testimonials

Trusted by the trades.

"Most of our week used to go into figuring out who to call. Builtie just gave us the answer: real projects, real people, and a lot of conversations we honestly never thought we would get into. AI is taking on more, automation has made outreach almost instant, and every time I log in something is sharper than the week before. My team finally has a tool that works for them, not another database they have to clean up after."

Sales team

"Builtie automated our entire outreach operation end to end. Prospect discovery, personalized messaging, follow-ups, and the CRM stays updated without anyone touching it. Colin and Sara walk in every morning to fresh conversations with builders and designers who are already working on real projects. We went from running outreach to reviewing results, and our pipeline has never looked healthier."

Los Angeles questions

Which part of Los Angeles do you cover?

The City of Los Angeles: the San Fernando Valley, the Westside, Hollywood, downtown, South and East LA, the Harbor area and LAX. Cities with their own building departments, like Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Pasadena and Long Beach, are not included yet.

Are these approved projects?

Yes. The feed only shows permits LADBS has issued, not applications still in plan check, and drops jobs once they are finaled or closed.

Who do I actually reach?

The contractor named on the permit, the architect and engineer, and the owners, presidents and project managers at the building company, on LinkedIn and by email.
