Builtie has two monthly plans, priced per seat with a 7-day free trial, plus a quoted Custom option: Starter at $79 per seat for the first paid month, then $179 per seat per month for 20 project credits, and Growth at $99 for the first paid month, then $199, for 50. Builtie is sales automation for construction trades in the United States and Canada: it finds permitted projects, names the builder or general contractor and a decision maker on each, and on Growth runs the outreach. A card is taken to start the trial, but you are not charged until the trial ends and you can cancel before then. Starter includes the project feed and decision-maker contacts without Outreach. Growth adds all platform features, including LinkedIn and email outreach. Custom is our done-for-you service.

Who the plans are for, and what they pay for
Starter and Growth are priced for trade contractors and building-product suppliers who sell to builders, general contractors and developers: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry and millwork firms and general contractors. That means owners of smaller firms who do their own selling, and the estimators, sales reps and sales managers at bigger ones; each person who signs in needs a seat. Custom is for teams that want Builtie's staff to run the outreach for them.
Every plan pays for prospecting: projects from building permits, scored for your trade, with the builder or GC and a decision maker. Each contact is traced from the permit or planning record to the operating company, matched to a person by their declared employer and checked on name, company and address; anything that fails is labelled unverified. Growth adds automated LinkedIn and email outreach sent from your own accounts. No plan includes estimating, takeoff, job costing, crew scheduling, field-service dispatch or bid management; most customers keep their CRM or job-management tool for the work they win.
Terms
- Free trial: 7 days on Starter and Growth, with 10 credits. Cancel anytime during the trial.
- Seat-based pricing: each price is per user, billed monthly.
- Geographic scope: every plan is available across North America (United States and Canada). Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) carries the deepest project and contact data. Custom plans add multi-territory coverage for teams working several markets.
- Changing plans: move up to Growth at any time and it takes effect straight away; a move down to Starter takes effect at your next renewal.
- Monthly credits: your plan's credits reset at each renewal; unused plan credits do not roll over. Opening a project or a person in Industry People spends 1 credit; a project you have opened stays open.
- Extra credits: active subscribers can buy packs from the billing panel: 10 credits for $50, 20 for $80, 30 for $99 or 50 for $120. Pack credits stay valid for 30 days while your subscription is active.

How much does Builtie cost?
Starter is $79 per seat for the first paid month, then $179 per seat per month, and Growth is $99 per seat for the first paid month, then $199 per seat per month. Both start with a 7-day free trial. Starter has no Outreach; Growth has all platform features. The Custom done-for-you service is quoted after a call.
When am I charged?
Nothing is charged when you start. Your card is held by Stripe during the 7-day free trial. On day 7 the first month is charged at $79 (Starter) or $99 (Growth), and the regular price, $179 or $199, a month after that, on the same day each month. Cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.
Why is the first month cheaper?
It is an introductory price for new customers, so you can work a full month of projects in your own market before paying the regular price. It applies once, to your first paid month, and not to accounts that have subscribed before.
What is a credit?
One credit opens one project: the builder or general contractor, the decision maker and how to reach them. Browsing the feed, the map, filters and trade scores is free, and a project you have opened stays open, so going back to it is free. Opening a person in Industry People spends 1 credit; a planning file from before the permit spends 3.
What if nobody can be reached on a project I opened?
The credit comes back by itself when the people search finds no one or the project has no builder on record. You can also report a project from its page and our team checks it by hand.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Add a pack from the billing panel: 10 credits for $50, 20 for $80, 30 for $99 or 50 for $120. Pack credits stay valid for 30 days while your subscription is active. Or move to Growth for 50 credits a month.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Plan credits reset at each renewal, so each month starts with your plan's full allowance.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Starter and Growth both start with a 7-day free trial with 10 credits. Cancel any time during the trial, in the app, and you pay nothing.
What is the difference between Starter and Growth?
Starter includes 20 credits a month to open matched projects and see decision-maker contacts, without Outreach. Growth includes 50 credits a month and all platform features, including LinkedIn and email outreach, events, social signals, campaigns and sales intelligence.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, month to month, with no contract. Moving up to Growth takes effect straight away; moving down to Starter takes effect at your next renewal. Cancel from the billing page whenever you like and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Which currency do you charge in?
Customers in Canada pay in Canadian dollars and customers in the United States in US dollars. The figure is the same in both.
